When they Start Asking, “Why do We Use Social Security Numbers?”

Soc Sec Pic

After all the Social Security numbers in America became compromised with a hack of government data, I wondered the same question that was asked on MSN, “Why do we still use Social Security numbers?”  The answer to the question is that we wanted to use the card as a unique identifier so that the government and companies with whom we’re seeking to do business could verify our identification.  It was warned not to carry the card around so it didn’t fall into other’s hands, but it was asked for endlessly, so we found we needed to carry it with us.  Then purses and wallets were stolen, and it fell into other’s hands.  But that was nothing compared to what happened when everything was being done by way of the internet, and websites endlessly asked for the social security number as a unique identifier, and so we gave it.  Now tons of databases are filled with our social security numbers and they’re getting hacked regularly now.

These cyber criminals who hack this information will simply continue to sell what they have found and it will propagate in every database of every cyber criminal on the planet.  It’s information that can’t be purged by any government effort.  It would take finding one pc at a time and then deleting each copy at a time.  In the meantime, it continues to propagate while the slow search goes on.  So, what alternative do we have?

Oh, I have an idea.  The idea can be found in the Bible.  You must require something that can’t be duplicated.  You got it, one’s own DNA.  I pointed this out in an article before, but this article found on the Home page for the Microsoft browser was one of the first times I saw one questioning our use of Social Security numbers.  Which as this website is dedicated to pointing out, this is a warning sign toward the end times.  The goal of this movement is to remove methods used to be secret and hidden by making sure there’s a way for legitimate companies and government bodies to verify the identity of anyone trying to do something on a secured intra-net only to be used and accessed by people who willingly gave even their own DNA as a unique identifier.   Machines will scan a person’s hand containing a chip that only works when in the body, and which doesn’t identify the DNA, but verifies the chip is in the body of that person.  No one can duplicate that.  The machines that verify DNA IDs, will send it’s own unique ID (perhaps regularly changing like IP addresses)  so that hackers can’t intercept a verification and mimic it with a change of a bank account or address to send products.

Anyway, keep an eye out for a move in this direction.  With Mark Zuckerberg getting interviewed in the past week by the American Congress because of compromised personal data, the time for this DNA ID draws nearer.

Bees and Trump Join the End Times

I have never been one to point to any one trend, or one State of the Union address as an end times event, but with so many things happening at once, it’s worth mentioning a couple of events that have happened recently that point to the End Times that we live in.

First, we have an ongoing issue with bees.  If you do a search such as “bees dying at an alarming rate”, you’ll see this issue has been going on for several years.  To find a more recent one, I searched “bees dying 2018” and found a U.S. News  article, “A Real Buzz Kill“, that shows it’s still an issue.  Of course, one does not have to do this search to know it’s been happening.  I have been noticing bees lying on the streets, side walks, drive ways, parking lots, and back yards for several years.  Enough so, that I did this search recently to see if anyone else had been noticing this.

It occurred to me that in the seven days of creation, God made the insects three days after the plants were created.  It’s an important order because many plants depend on bees to propagate their species through pollination.  On a side note, consider if it were three millions years between these events as some apologists suggest, most plants that we depend on today would have died before we ever saw them.  The article here states.

Seventy of the world’s top 100 crop species are pollinated by bees – and those foods feed 90 percent of mankind. Without a large, healthy bee population, most foods we rely on would disappear.

Bees Dying

Why do I bring this up as an end times consideration.  As mentioned before, there will be famine and pestilence during the times leading up to the last days, and if bees are affecting 90 percent of what we eat, this is perhaps one of the most ignored trend that could lead us to those times.

What about Trump’s State of the Union address?  I’m not joining the Trump haters because who could honestly disagree with developments like unemployment at an all time low, earnings rising, and taxes going down?  The boon, though, could come at a large expense as lost tax revenue could easily fall short paying for a great wall, the defeat of terrorism, more nukes, a whole new infrastructure including paying for jobs to build it, and many more promises with less to pay for it.  Soon, the burden of debt may actually reach a breaking point as Trump’s businesses did in the past.  I hope not, but fear it’s looming.

After 9/11 and the ending of Saddam Hussein, as insurgencies were making the news and pursuit of Al-Qaida leaders made news daily, my 9 year old son once told me a dream that caught the attention of the Spirit inside me  when it sounded far more biblical than the dream of a 9 year old.  He described a many headed beast that was fighting him, and it was a difficult fight, but he was cutting the heads off of this beast with a sword.  He said he was getting tired when he finally cut all the heads off but one.  And he had to add out of no where, “I was an American.”  Then he finally gave all that he had and cut the last head off, but instead of dying, the monster grew a new body, and swallowed him up.

Acts 2:17 “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.”

When I heard my son’s dream described sounding every bit like a prophecy in the way mentioned in Acts 2:17, it seemed to be about America fighting terrorism.  After all, it was common in those days for the head shots of Al Qaida leaders to be posted whenever they eliminated one.  We knew that Bin Laden was their leader, and would have been the ultimate goal, and we had no idea how hard it would be to finally get him.  So hard, that it wasn’t until Obama was President that we finally got him.

Yet, it wasn’t but a little while longer after ending his reign, that ISIS appeared.  The mention of leaders was minimal, but it was almost as though the internet led this whole beast as terrorist attacks happened without a leader all throughout the world.  It was as though the body controlled it and not any particular head.  You would think this dream says that ISIS will take over America, but that is not happening.

What’s funny, is without knowing of a coming ISIS, I concluded something entirely different after hearing the dream.  I thought it was saying that America would go bankrupt fighting terrorism, and that once the last effort seemed to have stopped the last definite source of terrorism, it would go bankrupt, and would be swallowed up by Europe as the U.N. would swoop in to keep the people of America afloat, propped up by all the nations.

It seemed to not be happening as we’re in a boom instead of a decline.  Nonetheless, we have had multiple efforts to increase the maximum debt as it’s already spiraling out of control.  Between the promises of Trump, and the need for a growing military due to Kim Jong-in, this end result is sounding more possible.

When my son’s dream seemed to point to this, it reminded me what I’ve heard from some Biblical scholars that America does not seem to be part of the end times.  In the description of the 10 kingdoms in Revelation and Daniel, the reasonable symbolic representation of each does not seem to include America, but is rather centered around Europe and those once represented by the Roman Empire.  Perhaps the possible bankruptcy and absorption of America by Europe explains this.  Believe me, I take no joy in the possibility of Trump or Bees bringing bankruptcy or famine, and I certainly hope that neither are part of our futures.

Failed Flu Shots is a Warning Sign

Scriptures talk about these times as birth pains:

“Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.  All these are the beginning of birth pains.” Matt 24:7-8

This means that the foretold difficulties will grow in intensity and become more frequent.  So far, the influenza in 2018 has not been catastrophic in death toll, but it is still alarming that as of 1/24/18, 30 children have lost their lives to influenza, and some of those were perfectly healthy.  It is becoming clear that the Flu strains continue to mutate faster than we can vaccinate against it.

The famine mentioned in the quote above can easily be caused by growing pestilences as bacteria mutates faster than it can be destroyed, and could destroy crops and infect animals world-wide leading to famine.  It wasn’t long ago that it was an Ebola break out that made the news.  Such news reports are growing in number and intensity.

Imagine someone who can unite the world to eradicate such growing pestilence and famine.  That one will popular.  It’s a reminder that you won’t even want to stop the actions of the anti-Christ when he begins to unite the resources of the earth to extend our lives.  The problem is not his success as a ruler, but what comes later when he declares himself god.

“He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4

Though it’s troubling to see these birth pains growing in intensity, take heart, it also means the time is growing nearer when we’ll see the Lord walking across the skies amidst the trumpet blasts and the powerful voices of praise from a multitude of angels as the rumbling from this joyful noise joins with the palpable force of Jesus’s holiness sending us trembling in unworthy adoration and awe.  Rev 15:3-4

UN Vote is a Sign of Revelation Times

If you know Revelations, it is no surprise that Israel has declared Jerusalem as their Capital and at the same time the world rejected their claim.  It is also no surprise that the U.S. supported it, and are standing apart from the rest of the world.

First of all, Revelations shows a time when Israel and the world grow more at odds.  Israel, Jews, and the earlier Hebrews have a history of standing apart and that doesn’t change in the End Times.  This is part of the reason why the anti-Christ will be arresting and later killing Jews when they reject him as their god.  It is perhaps the reason we know the term antisemitism.

The world today has moved to more moderate opinions toward religious beliefs, and decide more on civil terms than moral or religious terms.  It is seeking more and more to choose as one the civil underdogs to unite against any religious strongholds.  It is not much different from the times of the Tower of Babel when all were united in language and the desire to distance themselves from God’s laws and expectations.  An unbending Israel is standing against their judgments and rejecting the demands of the world’s chosen underdogs.

Of course, at one time, Jews were the clear underdogs having suffered so dearly during the holocaust, but in miraculous fashion, Israel was formed into a Nation in a day as prophesied (Isaiah 66:8-24), and when surrounding Arab countries threatened to wipe out every man woman and child in Israel, the Jews defeated their enemies against odds as bad as 7 to 1.  For good reason, Jews are proud to be God’s chosen people, and His blessing on them was no more clear than the forming and protecting of Israel.  And regardless of any of this, prophecy constantly talks about enmity and jealousy toward Israel that lasts until Jesus returns.

Could it be that the U.S. siding with Israel will lead them both down that path which opposes the anti-Christ and leads to their ultimate scattering and weakening?  Quite likely, and yet, I say it was no surprise that the U.S. supported Israel and were rejected by the world.  The day is coming when the many nations of the world will send their troops to surround Israel.  What has been unusual in my searching scripture is that there is no clear mention of the U.S. in Revelations.  In other scriptures, the U.S. seems to be a place beyond Ethiopia, or Shinar, but those don’t show up in Revelations. Is it possible that the U.S. goes bankrupt and is absorbed into the other world powers as they side more and more with Israel and lose support from the world.

What’s very odd is that Shinar is also related to Babylon, and when some read the prophecy of Babylon the harlot (Rev. 17), it reads like a fallen U.S.  Many times a prophecy about one major kingdom relates to a similar kingdom that suffers a similar fate (such as Daniel 9:27 which talks about an abomination that will occur in the Jewish temple, and one time when this happens is when the king of Antioch, Antiochus Epiphanes (168 B.C.), sacrificed swine inside the Holy of Holies, and later the anti-Christ will declare himself god in the Holy of Holies).  As for the U.S., this weakening could be exaggerated by the rapture which could remove perhaps millions of Christians from the country leaving the nation in shambles.

So, neither of these events are a surprise.  Does the ire of the world make sense?  I cannot see it myself.  At the simplest level, Israel owns at least a part of Jerusalem, and so it should matter not if Israel declares any place where they reside as their Capital.  It simply irks people because Palestine continues to complain of unfairness, and it’s widely known that it is offensive to Muslims that the Jews still think of Jerusalem as belonging to them and that it is still the Holy Capital which it originally was under King David’s control, and the kings that followed.  Does the world really think that Israel will ever relent in that regard?  It seems foolish to think Israel could relinquish the significance of their past in the region so well documented in their scripture.

I also find the Arab argument over Jerusalem lacking because any legal claims to Jerusalem ended ten years after 1948 and what has happened since then is a defense of Israel that was so successful, Israel gained control of the lands such as Golan Heights, Gaza strip and the West Bank.  It almost seems ludicrous that Arabs would claim Israel’s possession of any land taken in war should be given back, when the original claim to the land soon to be named Palestine was taken by force.

Much of the Arab lands were taken by force, and not in defense of their own lands, but aggressively taking it, while Israel was defending itself against overwhelming odds in the wake of threats to annihilate them. If ever in those two comparisons there was a just taking of land, it was Israel’s, yet the world stands firmly against them 179 to 9 to deny them their sovereignty to even declare a Capital city for themselves.  How can a U.N. vote take such sovereignty away from Israel when it would do no such thing to any other nation regardless if they took land defending themselves or aggressively planned to take it by force?  The world is full of those who did the latter, yet no one is telling them to give their land back to anyone.

So, as we live in these Revelation times, we can see another milestone on our way to joining Jesus in the sky.  As I said before, these are both scary and exciting times we live in.  We are seeing major prophesies unfold before our eyes.

Considering “Lining up Events…”, would you refuse to use a financial system that requires an implanted chip tied to your DNA?

Would you refuse for religious reasons, or would you refuse because it’s icky?  What if the system was to help the world protect against cyber-terrorism taking over the world, healing the sick, feeding the poor, and bringing peace to the world?  What if it was the only legal financial system in the world leading to imprisonment if you go around it?  Please leave your Comments, and we’ll engage in a little open-minded debate of how we should live in the coming days.

Lining up Events with Warning Signs and Revelations

So, I must begin with what are the sign posts down the road provided in Revelations.  What assured us that we weren’t close to the prophesied times were the three almost impossible changes coming for the world related to the anti-Christ.  In the likely order of happening, they are: 1. A global financial system, 2. A global government, 3. A global religion.

As far as a global financial system, the forming of the European Union was the first sign preparing the world for such a change as the Euro united multiple monetary denominations into one.  A recent development of ATM Credit cards and online banking has moved us much closer to a global economic system.  Added to this is the growing issue of identify theft, and the hacking of secured systems.  It shows that companies world-wide will need to move toward a global system where only those with valid accounts tied to something like an implanted chip can use the system.  With the huge discrepancy between the prices of China’s goods and other countries through its control of incomes, many would look for a financial system that would level the playing field so all economies can be strong.

With all economies united, we’re closer to uniting governments, but the next largest factor that would drive toward a global government would be the prophesied pestilences and famine put together with growing global cataclysms such as record breaking hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, fires, and earthquakes.  The world would begin to turn to a charismatic leader who can arbitrate between countries and offer solutions for combining the resources of all countries to solve the world’s problems.

The world development toward one world religion was something I could not believe would ever happen, but when you consider that all the world religions have been moving toward a watering down of their religions, it’s getting closer to this now.  Though extremist Islam gets a lot of attention, it has driven a much larger population of well-meaning Muslims to take a more moderate approach to their faith distancing themselves from the evil of terrorism.  Christians have been moving away from mentioning sin and repentance and avoiding saying the Bible is the Word of God.  Jews and Muslims don’t see Jesus as a Savior, but revere Him as a good teacher, and with Christians distancing themselves from the need for one Savior to get to heaven, the religions are already more united.  More and more, you hear the phrase, “All religions are basically the same.”  One world religion begins to seem less impossible when considering these developments, but closer yet when you consider that a rapture is coming that will remove the most fundamental Christians from Earth removing the last obstacle to a world religion.

Are we in the Revelation Times?

Of course, most think of Armageddon when they think of Revelation times, or End Times, but it begins with the Warning Signs, or Birth Pains.  Jesus spoke of these times that we’re in saying, “Take heed that no one deceives you, For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.  And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars.  See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.  And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.  All these are the beginning of birth pains.”  Matt. 24:4-8

Certainly, we’ve had difficult times in the past with wars, famines, pestilences and earthquakes, but what makes these times unique are the global changes that prepare us for the events depicted in Revelations, and the likelihood that the growing pattern of these events happening today have a broader world changing impact globally in our near future as comparable to the times of the World Wars.

Yet is it all about war?  No.  Does Jesus tell us about these things to warn us of impending doom, or is it more about the why of the coming times?  Should our focus be on the fear of dying, or should we wake up to the spiritual death that the world has embraced while we have formed our safe and hidden support groups to complain about it?  Even we, with faith, are dulled and many Christians live together before getting married, and excuse behaviors that the Bible has warned against.  Then if we do warn of those sins, we do so without love, and don’t offer the option of redemption to those we find reprehensible

Jesus tells us of these times, because Revelations is coming and we shouldn’t want even our worst enemies to go through the coming seven years of wrath.  We should take a good look around us and ask ourselves, “How many of those we know would stay here when Christians are taken up to join Jesus in the sky?”  And this should embolden us to get the evangelizing started.  Many of us are silent still, including myself, because we’re afraid of being judged as uncool, intolerant, judgmental, but we should instead be thinking of saving souls and the great commission.  We still have time because much of what is necessary to prepare the way for the anti-Christ is not in place yet, but this blog is where we can discuss what we’re hearing and keep a pulse on the birth pains.  If it happens as these words suggest, the signs will grow in intensity and in frequency as it gets closer to the Lord’s coming which will come “as a thief in the night”, which means no matter how close we observe the signs, we won’t know exactly when it will happen, so we should behave now as though it could be tomorrow.

Jesus spoke of that readiness when He said, “And at midnight a cry was heard; ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming, go out to meet him!’  Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.  And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’  But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.” Matt 25:6-10

A call to arms!  But not to fight, but to save!  May we help each other to have our lamps ready for the coming of the bridegroom, our Lord Jesus Christ!
